On Sunday, October 18th, the "Dream Festival for Cat Lovers: 562 Festival vol.4" was held in Tsuchiyu Onsen, Fukushima City
It was a clear autumn day without a single cloud. When I arrived at the venue, "Sky Blue Tsuchiyu," white, blue, and red tents were lined up across the wide lawn. The trees were beginning to change color, and the area was wrapped in the refreshing air typical of the mountains
Peeking into the tents, I saw cats, cats, and more cats everywhere I looked. There were cats on the signs, on the tent decorations, and among the items on display. Among the visitors strolling leisurely between the booths, there were also people with their dogs
The first thing that surprised me as I walked through the venue was the wide variety of genres of the works
There were round, expressive crocheted cats and pouches. Stained glass that sparkled as it caught the light. Cat-shaped single-flower vases and cutting boards that conveyed the warmth of wood. There were also ceramic small plates shaped like cat faces, and cat figurines peeking out from mugs
